dolhpins communicate on a highly sophisticated level see how they use sonar to detect where the food is after tricking the food with their sounds initialy. They cooperate better than most humans who fight each other for food

i was very upset by what happened to the dolphins in japan. when are they going to stop it?it is the japanese who have to stop it. the americans can do nothing about it. the japanese have to realise that they cannot go on killing dolphins otherwise they will get more tsunamis! divine law exists!

@halflifefan84 The slaughter remains in existence not because of “culture” but because the “fisherman” of Taiji work for marine parks. The dolphins they don’t kill are sold to marine parks. They make money off that, its all about money! ‘The cove’ is a great documentary about what is going on.

  • halflifefan84 says:

  • sharinganWS says:

@bonjourMaile that’s really no excuse of abling to change the way culture of japan to stop hunting dolphins, culture are people, and people sometimes must change for better future. of course, japan is not only country at fault of crimes against animals but to compare like canada to japan and making excuse how other countries are doing this and that, it doesnt help everyone. there are people in japan who are going against dolphin hunting for better future and to avoid danger of mercury poison

  • Marreez says:

@bonjourMaile they are stupid though who eat dolphin meat (filled with poison) and gives it to their children.

  • Raelsatu says:

About Finbacks
The fin whale is also called the finback whale, razorback, or common rorqual, is a marine mammal belonging to the suborder of baleen whales. It is the second largest living animal after the blue whale, growing to nearly 27 metres (88 ft) long. The American naturalist Roy Chapman Andrews called the fin whale "the greyhound of the sea" because of its great speed when chased and slender build.Long and slender, the fin whale's body is brownish-grey with a paler underside.
